Hardcore/metal trailblazers Deadguy return with Near-Death Travel Services, their first album in thirty years and a blistering successor to their influential debut Fixation on a Coworker. Reuniting on stage after decades apart reignited their chemistry, and this new LP channels that fury into eleven tracks of scorched-earth riffing, fractured rhythms and raw-throated rage.

From the opening scream of ‘Kill Fee’, Near-Death Travel Services doesn’t let up—sharpened by angular guitar interplay, punishing drums and the bloodied precision that only comes from a band refusing to mellow with age. Rather than reinvent the wheel, Deadguy double down on what they do best, expanding their sonic assault while giving frontman Tim Singer space to explore generational despair with bleak wit. “The sky is falling / It’s landing on us,” he roars on ‘The Alarmist’, while ‘The Forever People’ urges: “Pick your gods / Pick your side / We’re selling tickets for the end of time.”

Drummer Dave Rosenberg led the writing process, penning riffs that were shaped and amplified by the band’s volatile synergy. “This is just what it sounds like when we play together,” says guitarist Chris Corvino. Despite its tongue-in-cheek title, Near-Death Travel Services is no nostalgic victory lap—it’s a savage, vital record from a band still capable of total demolition.
